I’m sure the planes are fine. Just don’t ever go talk to a westjet rep or ticketing counter. Absolutely the worst people ever. They’re so stupid it’s unreal. I go there and I was basically given the 3rd degree as if I was a criminal or something and the stupid rep assumed I was travelling for over the visa on arrival dates. I googled it and showed her that it was not and that she was wrong which shut her up. But no apologies or anything. She’s like “well you’re cutting it close”. From that point on I realized always just do carry on’s. Never check luggage. Just download your QR code and proceed to security and board. Because if you go to a ticketing counter and you end up talking to a monkey they could infact cancel your whole trip. I use to think westjet was good until that one encounter. Where I was treated like absolute garbage for no reason what so ever. I’ll fly AirCanada any day even if I had to pay double then have to deal with these WJ monkeys. They’re not even human. They’d make great not c gistopo officers im sure. Total scumbags!!! Ya never approach a ticketing counter. Some idiot working there could ruin your trip.

Huh, weren't you just throwing insults and rude comments at your AMES 3 weeks ago. Now they are desperately needed, working extra shifts and they are like your best friend.

Worst customer service. Flight canceled to Orlando because of no available crew in Toronto. Tried to book a later date and told our return flight was canceled. What !!! Just want to get there and give my granddaughter a holiday. Already lost our cruise. How about just Disney world. On the phone all day, the next day....waited for hours and hours. Finally get "Tanya". She put us back on hold for 40 min. And when we mentioned how long...SHE HUNG UP ON US. WHAT !!! DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Looks like some expensive damage. Plus loss of flight revenue from those planes for a long long time. I guess there won’t be any old aircraft retired for a very long time.

I wonder what’s westjet prevention plan going to go to prevent this from happening again. Build more hanger ? That means they will be charging passengers more for the flight 😅 😅

maybe they should have considered Calgary's annual hail risk, before taking Alberta taxpayers money to make YYC their main hub, and build more hangarage. looks good on them, from an ex westjet techops employee.

Beleive me this an IROP resultinging in 16 Aircradt stalled at AOG. The resluting damage if severe enough can take 6 months plus. This is a Safety Compliance IROP., I suggest this will be a joint repair between WJ and Boeing . This was a freak Act of Nature. which no E.V.P. of. Inflight or C.E.O. would want to wade through at any Airline World Wide.

Safety first. It's difficult but necessary these aircraft are repaired but WestJet management could do more for their customers . I usually fly WestJet but certainly will have to consider their competition for upcoming flights.

Westjet asking for compassion, sadly they don’t have the same for their passengers who continue to experience last minute delays and cancellations resulting in out of pocket expenses incurred for accommodations, vehicle rentals, meals etc. The stock reply is “not our fault” (problem)😟

We got cancelled and stuck in Phoenix during the strike. And then we got cancelled going to Nanaimo last weekend. My next trip will be a road trip I think

We use the compatirpon voucer evy year but I am trying to book up Palm Springs from London Ontario via Calgary but it says i do not have any vouchers , I know but I want to book up on my West Jet credit card and pucgase the voucher but does not provide an option?
